Lisa H. Heard, RN, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 10 years of experience in direct patient care. Her experience includes both Hospital and Emergency Room patient care, as well as caring for pediatric patients with neurological disorders.
Lisa currently works as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Texas A&M International University (TAMIU), and was a former Adjunct Faculty member at TAMIU. She is certified by the State of Texas as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Registered Nurse (RN), and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Lisa received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M International University (TAMIU). She is a member of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, Nursing Honor Society and Society of Chest Pain Center.
