About
Mario Flores, M.D., received his medical education at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He completed his residency as part of the Laredo Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program, class of 2024.
Dr. Flores has a special interest in preventive medicine for the pediatric, adolescent and adult populations. He also enjoys helping patients improve their health and wellness, both physical and mental.
As a family practitioner, Dr. Flores has received training in both acute care of injuries and chronic management of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and thyroid diseases. Services offered will include annual physicals, pre-participation sports physicals, skin biopsies, suturing of small lacerations, skin tag removal, joint injections for the treatment of arthritis, and pap smears.
