Jan Demasiado, RN, MSN, FNP-C, CCRN-CMC, is a certified Nurse Practitioner with almost 10 years of experience in direct patient care. He began his career as a Registered Nurse at Laredo Medical Center, and since then has expanded his patient care throughout the Laredo community working with several health care facilities, including critical care units.
Jan also serves his country as a Commissioned Officer in the Army Nurse Corp, with the 5501st U.S. Army Hospital, San Antonio, TX. In this position, he has served in several leadership positions in the hospital's ICU Dept., as well as collaborated with fellow nurses, commissioned officers, and soldiers in the management of critically ill patients.
Jan received both his Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Masters of Science in Nursing from the Texas A&M International University. He is certified by the State of Texas as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Registered Nurse (RN), and holds additional certifications as a Critical Care Registered Nurse, Cardiac Medicine Certification, Advance Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advance Life Support, and Trauma Nursing Core Course.
